Justin Bieber is saved by the bell on the red carpet as he arrives at the 2011 MMVA Awards held at MuchMusic HQ in Toronto on Sunday night (June 19).
The 17-year-old musician arrived in the city earlier today after performing at his pal Scooter Braun’s birthday bash in Los Angeles on Saturday night (June 18).
Justin is up for several awards including International Video of the Year by a Canadian, Ur Fave Artist and Most Watched Video of the Year.

Selena Gomez and boyfriend Justin Bieber watch Game Four of the 2011 NBA Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat held at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Wednesday night (June 7).
The couple caught the game from a private box with bodyguard Kenny Hamilton — watching the Mavs beat the Heat, 86-83.
Justin tweeted after the match had ended, “great night of basketball. heading to Nashville tomorrow for the CMT’s!! Good luck to @RascalFlatts - Let’s do it!!! thanks.”
While Selena added, “My mom is very happy right now haha 2-2.”

Selena Gomez whispers something into Justin Bieber’s ear as they attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Sunset Tower on Sunday night (February 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The duo both wore threads by Dolce & Gabbana to the2011 Oscarsevent.
Selena’s stylist Basia writes to JJJ about her look: “I have wanted to do a strong red color on Selena for a long time and this was the perfect time to do it. We loved the shade of red on this stunning Dolce & Gabbana dress because it beautifully complemented Selena’s skin tone. She loved the shape and felt very comfortable in it.
“After the dress was chosen, Selena decided that she wanted to do gold jewelry, so we decided on the beautiful gold Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings and bracelet. Her shoes are Brian Atwood and clutch by Judith Leiber.”
